Flying a plane in the 21 st century is quite different from what it used to be years ago. Today, almost the entire flight is managed by computers and automated systems. In fact, pilots only manually fly a plane for approximately three minutes per flight – during take-off and landing.

But is this increased reliance on automation a good thing? There is considerable evidence to indicate that it may be placing airplane passengers at risk since it is very difficult for pilots to keep their flying skills sharp when they don’t get an opportunity to use them.

In fact, there have been many fatal airplane accidents in recent years which have been labeled “loss of control” accidents.

In these instances, the planes stalled or ended up in an unusual position which the pilot could not manually maneuver out of.Brain anoxia there have been numerous occasions where pilots made the wrong choice in a split-second decision, resulting in a devastating airplane accident.

Many pilots and aviation safety experts have voiced their concern that pilots no longer have sufficient opportunities to fly a plane manually, resulting in a deterioration of these important skills. While there are many benefits to the precision accomplished by using computerized autopilot systems – a precision not achievable by manual flying – it comes with the danger that in dire circumstances, pilots may not possess the skills and decision-making ability to avoid a catastrophic plane crash. Hopefully the FAA will address these issues in the coming years so that a better balance can be achieved between the two modes of operating an aircraft.Brain anoxia

Robin quivers was involved in a hit-and-run car accident last week in new jersey. She did not suffer any injuries in the crash.

Quivers said that a driver sped out of a parking garage and lost control of his car. The vehicle cut her off and hit her vehicle on the driver’s side. The driver immediately fled the scene, but he chose his escape route poorly and ended up driving the wrong way down a dead end street. As a result, witnesses to the accident were able to record his license plate and get an accurate description of the driver and vehicle when he came back out of the dead end street.

The driver received several tickets for the incident, including:

• leaving the scene of an accident

• failure to report an accident

There are so many ways a driver distraction can lead to a car accident. While talking on cell phones, adjusting ipods, eating, and attending to rambunctious children may top the list of most common driver distractions, one woman in washington proved that there are truly no limits to the unusual ways to lose focus on the road.Brain anoxia she also demonstrated why you should always keep both hands on the wheel.

The 23-year-old woman lost control of her 2004 ford taurus while “flipping the bird” to another driver traveling in a subaru outback in the lane next to her. This display of anger was prompted by the subaru outback failing to let the woman get over to the right lane.

Unfortunately, as she gave the driver of the outback the finger, she lost control of her taurus and hit the back end of the subaru. The subaru veered off the road and flipped over. The driver of the taurus ended up in a ditch after the car accident.

Three people were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries. The woman in the taurus may be charged with reckless driving, and she will most likely face a car accident claim from the woman in the subaru.Brain anoxia

Adriana da silva, a brazilian immigrant living in framingham, massachusetts, died several days ago, just one day after undergoing a botched plastic surgery procedure. She had just turned 40 years old.

Da silva, a mother of three, wanted to get breast augmentation so that she would feel more beautiful as she entered her 40s. She found a medical spa advertising the procedure for between $3,500 and $4,500 – a relative bargain.

She had the plastic surgery procedure performed last weekend. One day later, she fell in her bathroom and was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.Brain anoxia according to doctors, she had a blood clot in her heart. The exact cause of death has not yet been determined, but an autopsy is being performed this week.

State licensing boards revealed that the doctor performing the procedure was not a plastic surgeon, nor does he have any expertise in the field. He is listed as a family practitioner. While he has a clean record over the last ten years, it still wasn’t very smart to have such a complicated procedure performed by an inexperienced doctor.

It is likely the doctor performing the procedure will face a medical malpractice lawsuit in relation to the incident. Sadly, this tragic death could have easily been avoided if da silva had used a board certified plastic surgeon for her breast augmentation.Brain anoxia
